Technical Comment:

The S&P 500 was in positive territory most of the day and then closed down just a fraction.  Volume was just below Wednesday but higher than the 30-day moving average volume.  A decline on Friday of about 1.7% would probably be enough to change our forecast from a growth trend to an uncertain trend.

Subjective Comment:

With apologies to our regular readers, our analysis of the US M2 weekly money supply will have to wait until this weekend.  We still believe our automated forecast has identified another false-start and advise against investing in US equities right now.  Our opinion has not changed from our discussion over the last several days, so we refer you to prior posts for discussion.
